iFileLog generates a text file which represents the attributes of a directory and allows the user in a simple way to protocol and understand changes.

Admins can easily log the changes of a directory and keep track on activities and changes.

While coping a large amount of data, you can easily generate a log file of the source folder with a MD5 checksum. After the copy job is done, generate another log of the copied folder and compare these two - e.g. with Apples FileMerge - to check if all files were copied accurate.

The following attributes are selectable:

• path
• MD5 checksum
• creation date
• modification date
• size
• type
• POSIX permissions
• owner account name
• owner account ID
• group owner account name
• group owner account ID
• system file number
• reference count
• HFS creator code
• HFS type code
